Making calls through Rival5 service using previously authorized cell phones and telephone numbers

Accessing the Personal Virtual Assistant

 

To access the personal virtual assistant,

  • From a previously authorized cell phone / home phone,

    • call your building’s auto attendant (usually the main number) *some systems may have some different configurations and you may need to call a different number in order to access the personal virtual assistant

  • The system will automatically recognize that you are “your extension” and are wanting to access the PVA.

 

If your cell phone is authorized, you will hear a prompt when you call the main number instead of the regular recording,

  • To place an outbound call, press 1.

  • To go to your mailbox, press 3.

  • To go to the auto attendant, press 4.

 

To place an outbound call,

 

  • Press 1 off of the main number prompt and enter your access code (this is your mailbox PIN).

  • After entering your access code, enter the ten-digit number (815-717-2052), followed by the pound key.

    • You will be connected to the number and your outbound caller ID will show the school’s caller ID.

 

To go to your mailbox,

 

  • Press 3 off of the main number prompt and enter your access code.

    • You will gain access to your voicemail as if you were in front of your phone.

 

To go to the auto attendant,

Press off of the main number prompt and you will be connected to the regular auto attendant recording.
